Lisa: We visited World Relief and spoke to the director, Phil Stewart, an American. This is a Christian organisation which works along with the Church in order to meet the needs of the local people. They gave us an overview of what WR do in Rwanda.
The child development programme for those aged 6-12 this will focus on vulnerable children and particularly girls. This will help them to build character and values, psychosocial skills and cognitive development. This is very much overseen by Pastors, training church leaders and Sunday school teachers.
